We choose each of our destinations carefully based on what each country and culture has to offer. Since our mission is to foster engaged and responsible global citizens, each of our trips incorporates one or more of the following four thematic areas:

Social Responsibility:

including service learning opportunities, an examination of human rights issues, visits to fair trade organizations, or working to address the needs of underserved or marginalized communities.

Indigenous Culture:

including visits to native or indigenous communities, learning about and helping to preserve traditional ways, or supporting efforts to empower native peoples.

Ecology and Sustainability:

including visits to bio-reserves, learning about a region's ecological diversity, or assisting with reforestation or other efforts.

Arts and Religions:

including visits to significant religious monuments, learning about the connection between art and religion, meeting with local religious elders, or studying the craft traditions of local communities.
