Ghana, known as the gateway to West Africa, boasts a thriving democracy, growing economy and a reputation as a friendly, peaceful, and welcoming destination. Our program is based in the coastal village of Kokrobitey which is close to the capital city of Accra. The country's ten regions blend rich cultural diversity with old world ideals and modern challenges which makes this a great place for exploration and discovery.

SAGE offers short term (2-3 weeks) or long term (semester) residential education programs in Art and Design, Environmental Studies, History, Culture and Education for Undergraduate and Graduate students. Programs take place throughout the year and run alongside long-term development projects and internships. Community service projects and field trips throughout the country are a part of every program. Each student will complete an independent study project at the end of their term.
